Situated at other 1000m, just a stone’s
throw from the Route of Ridges or “Route des Crêtes”, in
the heart of the Ballons des Vosges regional park, this attractive mountain
chalet hotel with its own restaurant niched amongst the fir trees will seduce
you with its family atmosphere, the quality of its traditional decoration
and its regional cooking. It was created in 1968 when, following a tip by
an old woodcutter, the owner’s father fell in love with this marvellous
location.
Each year brings a new batch of refurbishments; in keeping
with this the kitchen and the reception area have been recently renovated
in the truly authentic style of a Savoyard chalet.
All this so that in winter, at the end of an exhausting day spent skiing,
you may discover the warm atmosphere of a refuge or so that in summer, after
a long trek in the woods, a mountain bike tour or nautical activities on the
banks of one of the lakes in the region, you may enjoy a well earned rest
on the panoramic terrace in the shade of the fir trees.
